Fun in the Snow

We have had quite a bit of snow over the past 2 weeks and until the last few days, it never melted! This is very rare for the Comox Valley - although we can get dumped on, it rarely lasts more than 48 hours. So Nicholas had his first real taste of playing in the snow this year!

Yan made it home safely on Dec 20 and I am so thankful that he is around to shovel all the white stuff for me now! A huge storm blew in the day after he got here, so we cozy'd up in the house and just enjoyed having him home.

Looks like you have about the same amount of snow we do!!!! This morning, yet again, it started coming down thick and fast but lasted only about 1/2 an hr. Then the sun came out and it was melting like crazy and beautiful out. However, we still have lots left. Bet Nicholas enjoyed all the white stuff more than his dad did having to shovel over and over again!! Did Nic have a GREAT Christmas? Jeff took Niesha sledding - I did send you pictures. She had never PLAYED in the snow before - just suffered thru winters in snowing Michigan! Hope all is well. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL. LOVE YOU.

Thanks for the chrstmas letter and picture - that was very nice of you to think of us! Enjoy your time with Yan and hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve.
